Dimensions:

A swan, knitting using four needles and a sheath tucked in at the tip to create two spiders webs. The swan wears a Venetian plague doctors mask. The piece muses on the individual and group experience and the inter-connectivity of people in time and space.

It draws upon mu love of “Maman” (Louise Bourgeois) work, and the experiences of facing up to fear. I think it also muses on identity and heritage, things inherited, and knowledge passed on.
