Web accompanies other artworks, but also exists independently. The pair depict spider webs which have been crocheted from cotton. The inspiration for this piece sits in entering a state of mind which is unpleasant to be consumed with for long durations. Crocheting can be a mindless/mindful activity which involves counting stitches, precision and endurance. In many ways, it is also about connection and disconnection. Isolation and togetherness.
