Action Towards Inclusion is a multi-year project that allows a partnership of organisations to connect with people who are furthest away from work and/or training.

Action Towards Inclusion offers flexible support to help adults overcome physical, psychological, financial and skills-related barriers and progress towards employment, training, education and job-searching. It also helps to combat a range of social issues, including poverty and social exclusion.

Rural Arts is an ‘intervention partner’, providing ‘creative wellbeing interventions’: arts-based workshops that help people to improve their confidence, self-esteem, mental well-being and employability skills. As a freelance practitioner, I deliver well-being interventions offering a range of activities that can be adapted to suit the needs and interests of different groups. Activities can include printing, textiles, embroidery, collage, painting, drawing, felting and ceramics.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund, this project is managed by Your Consortium and is delivered by a partnership of organisations in the voluntary and community sector.
